The Carro family was deeply saddened by the loss of 

Ida Rose Carro, who passed away

on 11 June 2009 at the age of 85.  

She and Louis were high school sweethearts, and they married on 19 February 1941. She was known for her generosity, and her closeness to family and friends. When Louis was asked "How long were you and Ida married?", he answered "Not long enough."
